The Unions of December 2009

Not sure whether it's the timing, date, year or some auspisious thingy (the auspisious is one thing which I totally don't believe in) that suddenly I've another batch of friends who got married! :)

And of course this pretty little babe, is a princess of Lyn's colleague, very sweet lovely lady, just 2 years old!! And she's really demure and friendly! And so is her about 1+- year old baby brother, very smiley both kids. :)

9 years of friendship and still counting. *我的Sherlyn终于嫁人了!!" *Sniff Sniff*


PS: You know, that char bo was so afraid that I'll teared at her wedding and kept reminding me that she won't have tissues with her, and guess what, ended up SHE's the one who teared!! ;) Haha.. gotcha!! For goodness sake, have you ever even seen me shead a tear, or even holding back my tears all these years of knowing me ? *tsk tsk* :)

It was my Auntie's 20th Wedding Anniversary, as it's quite a post, therefore I'll be doing another entry for this. :)

PS: You know, I was so so nervous for my Emcee part, as there was totally no pre-rehearsal for it and we only got the script the night before.


I was so nervous that during the one and only rehearsal (which was during the R&R meeting) that I not only pronounced the names wrongly, but I also kept mixing up all the arrangement of words! It was so bad at one point that, the brothers of WeiMin said “Someone get her a wine please” Haha.


Back at the room, just before the dinner I was having difficulty pronouncing and remember Danica's mommy's name, that I kept talking non-stop about no-idea-what-the-crap-I-was-saying (I can’t even remember about it now, only about Danica’s mom’s name) that I kept making Danica laughed non-stop, therefore the above pics of her can explain why she look so relax and happy.


In short, I was so much MORE NERVOUS than the bride herself. That I kept asking her “告诉我这到底是谁再结婚啊!!谁才是新娘啊!!为什么我比新娘还紧张!!??” And she kept laughing non-stop. Sniff. Haha..

Due to the our roles that evening, therefore there isn't any much photos of it, will have to wait for Weimin and Danica to send it over.

PS:I tell you, the shark fins is the BEST that both Prince and I had ever tasted, despite we've each gone to our fair share of our friends and colleagues wedding dinners. It's super thick and there're tons of shark fins!! *SLURPS!!*

- 19-Dec-2009 (Saturday) - (Team mate) Michelle and her husband (Ben)'s Wedding Dinner (Peony Jade - Clarke Quay)

Due to I wasn't feeling well that day, therefore I didn't attended. :( However she still gave me her wedding favour!!

It's from one of my favourite sweet store! And I simply adore their sweets! :)

PS: Time really does flies. I remember very clearly how we just started our this current new team, and Michelle just got ROM-ed and the things were not confirmed for her wedding dinner yet. But now, it's all over. And of course, we knew quite a number of the preparations, cause she was sharing with us throughout the year. Felt sorta involved in it. I remember we were both caluating the pricing of the sweets. :) Hehe.
