KC's Birthday - 23-Oct-2009

It was KC's, my favourite 大哥's birthday, last Friday.

We sorta held a meeting the day before to decide how we're going to celebrate it for him.

Rita suggested to sabotage him. And after a short discussion, we decided to get one big bouqet of flowers for him. Sam Koh, than suggested to get him red roses which will sure do the trick!

It sure wasn't easy when you have one group of people deciding to get the type of flowers.

We went through websites after sites, from Xpressflowers, to 24hour florists and etc. Flowers after flowers, type of bouquets and what to go with the bouquet to trying to shield from others from what we were actually doing. (Cause you see, we were in a meeting room, and were looking through all these in a projector. We're really professional mind you. ;) )

And so after all the different phone calls out to the different stores and budgeting, finally we managed to agree on the "Prefect Present". A big bunch of balloons with 1 big bouquet of red roses with white fluffy ruffles around it!!

Next, was how are we going to present it to the birthday boy. Once again, the cheeky Rita suggested to have him parade the whole office, or rather at least from the recept area to his desk, which means will have to walk through my side. ;)

And than come the actual day~~~~

However the “big” bouquet wasn’t as big as what we (Rita and I) had thought, quite small actually, turned out to be a hand bouquet, but it was nice enough. :)

(Well, from the pic that the site show of the flowers, but than again, Picture and Acutal might vary..Don't you guys read those T&C in the menu of resturants ? Tsk tsk~~)

To make it more believable, therefore we have Gladys (who's our very good and if-you-mess-with-her-may-God-Bless-you caring for our front desk area and office facilities dept) to be in cahoots with us about the gifts.

And off we went into hiding into 2 of the few meeting rooms, around the front desk area, which were in a very good position of taking KC's reaction. ;)

The Birthday Boy sure is being a Birthday Boy, he took a hell of his own sweet time, just to walk from his desk unto the front desk area.

And guess what, it was so long, that we all got tired and Rita made a comment which we couldn't agree more to it.

"Now I know how the paparazzi must have felt while waiting for the celebrities to be out, in order to take a feel shots of photos."

"Don't bother about me, I'm tired just waiting for him to come out." ~Rita decided to make herself comfortable on the floor while waiting.

And meanwhile,the rest of the paparazzi group got real bored and started to fidget around. And of course, starting to take pictures of one another.

"Cheese!"

I was busy taking pics of Rita, when I turned around and suddenly noticed Koms was taking pics of us! Haha~~ talk about being real bored

tL "How does the phone really works ??"

And FINALLY~~~~~~~ The Birthday Boy arrives!!

"Oh my goodness, is that mine ? Is it from Jo ?"



PS: Jo's his wife

"Huh? Sweetie Pies ? Who on earth is that ?"

"And so it's really mine...."

And there he was left alone, in a daze, with the flowers, balloons and card.... ;)





And with that it's time that we revealed ourselves.

PS: On our way out, we noticed Sharon was in the other meeting room, which was directly behind the front desk, taking pictures. Haha.... we have you all cornered up KC! :)

"My goodness! So it's from you guys!"

There, that's a goodlooking dude we've got here. And of course he loves his surprise present, look at how wide his smile is. :D

And now here comes the Birthday Boy, showing off his presents to everyone, especially to each meeting rooms at their area.. 1st stop, the managers meeting~~

Presentation: "Erm yes, as you can see, this flowers and balloons are real nice.. good buy if you must have, and of course this only comes if you're as charming as me, that's where you'll have a group of fan club behind you"

And of course as you can see, heads are all popping out here there and everywhere from all over the office.

Yup this IS the effect / result that we want to see. ;)
